| I am looking for a Vintage Hood for the 1966 Stang..........I heard of a Mustang salvage yard in New Jersey...??? But unable to locate it.....  Please let me know if you guys see any ads in local papers,see something, etc. regarding parting out a car.... Willing to drive to PA or South/North Jersey to pick-up. Current hood is bent and previous owner botched the attempted repair.......  I believe a 1965 hood should fit.............can anyone verify that or know.......  Thanks. Andy |

| There are two types of repro hood......the $150.00 repro or the $450.00 ford stamped repro. I heard the Ford stamped sheet metal is a better fit and the steel thickness matches the originals where as the cheaper repros do not....... I would really like to get an original hood and re-prime the whole front end........ I am hoping to get a real original hood in good shape for a price somewhere between the the two repro costs...... |

|  ....................  If I do not find good used....... Most likely going with the Ford Stamped.........same construction/gauge as original hoods.......
